Come and join us in our regular meeting with our guest speaker Sawyer Smith talking about Krochet Kids and Stitched past. Stitched Past is a multimedia package telling stories of women’s empowerment in Lima, Peru. Vulnerable women in the impoverished district of Chorrillos work at Krochet Kids International, an organization devoted to helping women rise above poverty. Krochet Kids provides women with jobs, mentorship, education, and childcare, in order to foster opportunities necessary for the women to reach their fullest potential.
