| Innovation in Action: Hands-On Career Exploration |

Join WKU Innovation Campus and CREATE members for a hands-on workshop where you’ll meet WKU alumni entrepreneurs and explore real careers. Rotate through activity stations featuring coding and VR, business creation, health and movement challenges, brain games, science experiments, weather and climate learning, leadership teamwork, decorating a Habitat for Humanity door and more! This interactive session lets you try new things, discover careers, and see how creativity and leadership can turn ideas into real-world opportunities. Bus transportation provided. |
| Big Red's Farm |

Come join us at the WKU farm where we will tour in wagons behind a tractor and see cows and horses. Visitors will learn what we do on the farm and might even get a little dirty. Wear solid shoes and be prepared for the weather. It can get hot (or cold) and we will ride rain or shine. General farm hazards (weather, farm animals, dirt, allergens) closed toe shoes required, bus transportation provided. |

Silk Road Spices |

Join the History department in making your own spice bottle using items that would’ve been traded along the Silk Road from China to the Mediterranean. Students will get to grind their own mix of spices and take home a bottle, along with a booklet about the various spices used. Need to be aware of allergies. Gloves provided. Dye-free and gluten-free spices available. |
| You've Got This! Mastering Performance Anxiety | 2-8 |
Join the Department of Psychology for a educational workshop where we will: -Define and discuss performance related anxiety for activities such as taking tests, giving speeches, competing in sports, performing music, and other similar activities. -Identify common triggers of performance anxiety. -Explain how performance anxiety can be both helpful and harmful. -Overview common interventions for regulating performance anxiety. -Discuss participants’ experiences, questions, and ideas for applying what they learned from the presentation in smaller age-matched focus groups. |

| Day in the Life of an Athletic Trainer and Strength Coach Duo | 2-8 |
Join us for a brief look at what athletic trainers and strength coaches do with their day! Taping, bracing, wound care, treatment, programing, speed, agility, strength training, the list goes on and on. Explore a taping station, agility station, timed run, question and answer session, and a wound care station. A quick look behind the curtain of what we do for our student athletes. Physical activity, tennis shoes needed. |

Join the WKU Center for Financial Success for this fast-paced, interactive game. You’ll respond to real-life financial scenarios by choosing one of four corners in the room—each representing a different decision. Once you’ve picked your spot, you’ll hear how that choice could impact your budget, savings, debt, or future goals. It’s active, competitive, and designed to make you think about the everyday money decisions you’ll face in college and beyond—without feeling like a lecture. |

In this interactive session, you'll step into the shoes of medical professionals and explore the art and science of saving lives. From trying their hand at surgery simulation to learning the basics of intubation, students will discover some skills and traits that make healthcare a fascinating and rewarding career. |

Students will be able to sauce and top their own pizza as well as decorate a sugar cookie with the WKU Restaurant Group. While cookies do not contain nuts, all cookies are made in a location where nuts are present. |
| Line Dancing | 6-8 |
Come line dance with Louise, a groupX fitness instructor with Campus Recreation & Wellness! We will learn basic line dances such as the electric slide, etc. Physical activity, tennis shoes needed. |

Chai Chat - The World is Your Cup of Tea |

WKU Global welcomes students from around the world and sends WKU students to study around the world. Come join us for some tea and treats from around the world. WKU Students will also offer information about their country. Kids can explore the world through quiz games about countries, flags, and geography. Need to be aware of allergies. Tea will be non-caffeinated. |

Guided by Kentucky Archaeological Survey staff, the participants will explore fundamental aspects of archaeological lab work, including artifact classification, and artifact analysis and interpretation. |

| Bright Ideas | 2-5 | Join the Gordon Ford College of Business and get ready to think like a business owner! In this hands-on session, participants will work in groups to design and launch their own food truck concept. Teams will create a brand name, design their truck, develop a menu, and decide how to price their items. Along the way, students will learn the basics of entrepreneurship, teamwork, and creativity while bringing their food truck idea to life. |
| Visit the WKU Police Department | 2-8 |
The modern policing era has seen many changes in investigative technology to keep our communities safe. Visit the WKU Police Department and learn about proactive crime prevention strategies and get hands-on experience with "tools of the trade" utilized at WKU. Strobe lights and loud noise from sirens. |
| Build a Birdhouse | 2-8 |
Work with WKU Carpenters to build your own birdhouse to take home! Use of tools and nails. |
| Engineering & Biological Sciences | 2-8 | Explore Engineering & Biological Sciences, including 3D printed Big Reds! |
| GAME ON! | 2-8 |
Join the School of KRS to dive into high‑energy, PE‑style games designed to build leadership skills, boost confidence, and strengthen teamwork. Each session features dynamic, fun physical challenges, from relay races to problem‑solving obstacle stations, where participants stay active while learning the value of communication, cooperation, and community recreation. Students will rotate through action‑packed stations that keep them moving, thinking, and leading together! GAME ON! Tennis shoes required. Participants will be given the opportunity to do physical activities that involve jump roping, running (for fun during a game), and other sport-type activities. |
| Hilltoppers For Life | 2-8 | In this fun, interactive session, kids will explore what it means to be a Hilltopper and how the journey from student to alumni creates a lifelong connection to Western Kentucky University. Through conversations about Big Red, Homecoming, and the WKU Fight Song, participants will learn how students become graduates and eventually alumni who stay connected to the university for life. Kids will also create a “Future Hilltopper” card to imagine what they might study in college and how they could give back or help others someday—showing how Hilltoppers truly stay connected for life. |
| Introduction to American Sign Language | 6-8 | Join the American Sign Language Studies Program for a fun and action-packed introduction to American sign language. We will take a quick dive into Deaf culture norms and expectations, while also learning the ABCs, colors, numbers, and common phrases used in ASL. Activities will include communicating silently with gestures and playing Uno with no voice! |

Campus Recreation & Wellness is partnering with KidCam Camps to bring their camp to WKU this summer! KidCam’s weekly activities promote fun, fitness, friendship and creativity. Campers celebrate a different theme each week, while incorporating a curriculum filled with sports, creative arts, STEM, team building games, life skills, and more. Come see what a day at camp is like and play camp games with KidCam Staff! Tennis shoes needed, physical activity. |
