Promote sustainable wellness initiatives that enhance academic success, retention, employee satisfaction, and community engagement.

Faculty and Staff

  • CHHS is a supportive place to work. Faculty and staff report being satisfied with their jobs and feel supported by co-workers and administration.

  • Employees see CHHS as a healthy and safe workplace. They agree the college has a strong, health-supporting culture and report feeling safe at work.

  • Employees are generally healthy and satisfied with life, though with room to grow. Most rate their overall health as good to very good though there is room for improvement with regards to physical activity and nutrition.

  • The Wellness Hour - those who use it report significantly higher job satisfaction and a stronger sense that CHHS supports employee health than non-users.
