Enjoy homegrown music with a holiday twist at the seventh edition of the Kentucky Acoustic Music Festival. Local favorites, a headliner that caused the audience to demand not just an encore but a repeat performance and an act new to KAMF will make up this year’s lineup.
This year’s Kentucky Acoustic Music Festival will be held on Saturday, December 12, at The Capitol at 7:00 p.m.
The 2026 Festival will celebrate the holiday season with headliner The Kody Norris Show, an award-winning bluegrass group that features Bowling Green’s own Mary Rachel Nalley-Norris. Known for their rhinestones and fringe, they blend nostalgia and originality for an unforgettable night of country and bluegrass music. They have graced the stage at ROMP, the Ryman, the Grand Ole Opry, Dollywood and we are excited they will be coming back to The Capitol.
Joining the lineup is Kentucky based cellist, singer, and songwriter Ben Sollee. This Emmy-winning composer works “at the intersection of art and social impact.” His new album “Time on Hold” has a country vibe, inspired by the genre’s sound in the early 1970s.
Local favorite, Mt. Victor Revue will be the opening act. Featured on WKU Public Media’s award-winning Lost River Sessions, this self-described “popgrass” band plays covers and originals, with something for everyone!
The 10th anniversary of the first Kentucky Acoustic Music Festival is focused on benefitting three local non-profits that all enrich our community: The Capitol, the Kentucky Museum, and WKU Public Media.
Sponsorship opportunities are available at wkyufm.org/kamf. Tickets are on sale at capitolbg.org for just $20, fees included.
