WKU’s Chapter of the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) inducted 50 new members to the society on Thursday (April 23).
The NSLS is an organization that provides a life-changing leadership program that helps students achieve personal growth, career success and empowers them to have a positive impact in their community.
At the induction ceremony, the outgoing chapter president, Abby Smith was recognized, as well as the incoming chapter president, Kayla Hardy.
WKU’s NSLS chapter is unique in that it gets students involved from WKU’s main campus but also from satellite campuses and online students. Many graduate students and non-traditional students participate as well. Because all induction criteria can be completed in person or online, NSLS expands opportunities for leadership development to those students who may not be able to attend sessions in person.
To be inducted, students participated in an orientation, a leadership training day, listened to at least three speaker broadcasts and developed SMART goals with success networking teams. In spring 2026, broadcasters included Hoda Kotb, Ryan Serhant and Sebastian Maniscalco.
