The Kentucky Museum at WKU will host a Veterans Event on Saturday, November 8, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., following the 2025 Bowling Green Veterans Parade to celebrate and honor our region’s veterans. Sponsored by Atmos Energy, the event will feature World War I and World War II artifacts from the Kentucky Museum’s collection, an online wall of honor, presentations by military historians, children’s activities and more. More information:

WKU will also observe Veterans Day on Tuesday, November 11, at 11 a.m. with a wreath-laying ceremony at the Guthrie Bell Tower. The Veterans Day ceremony will include remarks from WKU President Timothy C. Caboni.
