WKU to observe Veterans Day

The Kentucky Museum at WKU will host a Veterans Event on Saturday, November 8, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., following the 2025 Bowling Green Veterans Parade to celebrate and honor our region’s veterans. Sponsored by Atmos Energy, the event will feature World War I and World War II artifacts from the Kentucky Museum’s collection, an online wall of honor, presentations by military historians, children’s activities and more. WKU will also observe Veterans Day on Tuesday, November 11, at 11 a.m. with a wreath-laying ceremony at the Guthrie Bell Tower. The Veterans Day ceremony will include remarks from WKU President Timothy C. Caboni.
