WKU TRIO SSS-D and the Faculty/Staff Neurodiversity Alliance (F/S NDA) are pleased to present our second Neurodiversity Awareness Fair!
Join us for hands-on demonstrations, games, and challenges to explore different ways our brains work!
=Open conversations, spark curiosity, and build empathy;
=Discover how diverse minds make the world more challenging- and interesting; and
=Find out how to learn more, access resources, and get involved!
This event aims to shed light on the experiences of individuals with neurological differences, such as Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, and other neurodiversity. Through interactive exhibits and informational booths, attendees will gain a deeper understanding of neurodiverse experiences and how to support inclusivity in academic, professional, and social settings.
The Neurodiversity Awareness Fair is open to all WKU students, faculty, staff, and community members. WKU encourages organizations, local businesses, and advocacy groups to participate by hosting a booth, volunteering at the event, or contributing incentives and prizes for participants.
For more information about the Neurodiversity Awareness Fair or to sign up as a participant, please contact Jimmie Martin at sssd@wku.edu.
