Mu Iota in collaboration with the local NAACP, Essence in Harmony, Amazing Tones of Joy, and current members and alumni of Mu Iota are coming together to honor the trailblazer Mrs. Margaret Munday.
As the first African American to attend classes at Western Kentucky University during turbulent times in America she succeeded despite the obvious struggles. With this, we wanted to honor her and her advancements in the music since then.
