The Broadway Musical
Music by Jason Howland, Lyrics by Mindi Dickstein, Book by Allan Knee
Based on the novel by Louisa May Alcott
Jo March is a bold, creative, and fiercely loving young woman determined to make a living as a writer. When the “blood-and-guts stuff” she’s writing isn’t getting through to publishers, she draws on her beloved family to craft the tale of four sisters finding their way into adulthood during the Civil War. Her story – and this musical – are filled with hope, joy, laughter, loss, and most of all, love.
