Description:

In honor of International Stand Up To Bullying Day, the WKU Counseling & Testing Center will offer two Safe Zone trainings this Friday (02/24/17) from 10:00—12:00 & 2:00—4:00 in Potter Hall 408.  The purpose of Safe Zone trainings is to reduce homophobia and heterosexism by training community members to serve as resources for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Questioning, Intersex, and Asexual/Ally (LGBTQIA) community.  The overall mission of this project is to raise awareness of LGBTQIA issues and pledge a commitment to fostering an environment that is devoid of discrimination based on sexual orientation, sexual identity, or gender identity.
