New, incoming students should plan to attend if they either have a pre-health concentration declared, or are considering declaring a pre-health concentration. There are quite a few healthcare fields students can work toward at WKU, but the ones this orientation will cover are Pre-Medicine, Pre-Chiropractic, Pre-Dentistry, Pre-Occupational Therapy, Pre-Optometry, Pre-Pharmacy, Pre-Physical Therapy, Pre-Physician Assistant, Pre-Podiatry, and Pre-Veterinary. The event will be covering the basics of pursuing a healthcare career in one of these fields and what resources are available for pre-health students at WKU.
