The Student Government Association's annual Earth Day Festival is organized by the Sustainability committee. There will be various vendors set up with fun activities for students to learn and celebrate our earth. There will also be live music and various entertainment.

Global 1968: Protest, Revolution, and its Lasting Impact

Building on the excellent series of talks last fall sponsored by School of Journalism & Broadcasting about important events in the United States in the consequential year 1968, the WKU History Department invites you to a presentation that expands the focus beyond just America. We will explore the Prague Spring, the May 1968 uprising in Paris, the protest and massacre in Mexico City in connection with the Mexico Olympics, and the explosive rise of modern feminism and the election of Shirley Chisholm as the first African American woman in Congress.
