I joined the Gatton family in Fall 2015 as a Residential Counselor and I am continuing on in this role for the 2016-2017 school year. I love planning activities to help the students grow emotionally and socially as well as intellectually. My previous experience as a “College Coach” guiding students in their journey to college prepared me to support Gatton students’ in their academic pursuits as well.
I completed my undergraduate studies in Social Studies and Secondary Education at Western Kentucky University, so I claim Kentucky as my home, but I am originally from New Jersey and Long Island, New York. I am currently pursuing a Masters in Social Responsibility and Sustainable Communities, an interdisciplinary program that cultivates the skills and knowledge necessary to be economic, political, and social change agents for more just and sustainable communities.
I have a deep love and appreciation for different cultures and lifestyles, which makes my time at Gatton so much more enjoyable. It is magical to see such unique students with diverse interests and backgrounds come together from across the state to pursue higher learning.
