Originally from Butler County, I moved to Bowling Green while finishing up my undergraduate degree at Western Kentucky University. Upon graduating, I took my first real job working in WKU’s Office of Admissions. After 7 and 1/2 years there, I joined the Academy in April 2008 as the Coordinator of Academic Services. I earned my Masters degree in Public Administration in Spring 2008. My dad claims he sent me off to college and I just never came back!
As Coordinator of Academic Services, I oversee the registration process for students to ensure all Gatton and high school requirements are completed during their 2 years at the Academy. It’s amazing to see how students grow and mature in just those few short years. As they embrace their newfound independence and design their own academic schedules, I’m here to advise them along the way and to remind them of the little things…like leaving room for lunch every day.
In my spare time, I enjoy being with family, photography, community events, perfecting my Photoshop skills, and attempting to have the most seasonally decorated office at the Academy.
