Are you contemplating a dance major or curious about what college-level dance entails? Dance Day is an opportunity each semester for prospective High School students to sample the WKU Dance Program and discover what makes it unique. Participants will take a class with WKU dance faculty, engage in a college Q&A to learn more about the curriculum, and enjoy a mainstage dance concert! While Dance Day is not a substitute for the mandatory dance placement audition for those pursuing a B.A. in Dance, nor is it intended for beginners, it is perfect for students with a dance background who are exploring whether WKU could be their future home. Each semester, we showcase the depth of our program through diverse technique classes and repertoire, reflecting the range of what we offer. We look forward to dancing with YOU on the hill!
General Schedule Sample:
Check-In: 11:45am
Faculty Class: 12:00pm -1:00pm
College Q&A: 1:00-1:30pm
Sunday Mainstage Performance: 2:00pm
Each family receives 2 FREE tickets that will be held at will-call. Additional tickets will be available for purchase.
All registered participants will receive an information email prior to their selected Dance Day!
