Site Wide Republish
Date: Thursday, July 11th, 2013
We will be republishing all webpages on www.wku.edu this Sunday, July 14th, at 9pm. This is needed because of a database issue we are experiencing with OU Campus. Please review your site next week – as if you haven’t republished your site in the last year, you may see some (typically minor) differences.
If you have not republished in the last year, your site will be upgraded to use the new templates. The features of the news template are listed in a previous news post. One difference you may notice is with the formatting of tables. Please see our previous articles about table alignment and table borders.
If you have saved versions of pages that have not been published - please be aware that these will be published during the site republish. You can use the revert feature if there are pages that you did not want to be published.
We have an OU Campus workshop scheduled for Wednesday, July 17th from 9am - 12pm in the first floor lab in MMTH. This is a perfect opportunity for you to bring any issues that may have been caused the republish.
As always, if you have any questions - please email email@example.com.
We have built in the ability for users to add an image within a news article.
Font Awesome icon set updated to version 4.6
There will be a planned maintenance window for OU Campus on Friday, October 30th from 11 pm - 1 am.
Currently there is a known bug that will not allow you to add a page within OU Campus or publish a page. We have submitted this to OmniUpdate and as soon as it is corrected, we will let you know.
Support for OU Campus will no longer cover IE 9. If you are using IE 9, please make sure you switch browsers.
