Form assets provide two methods of collecting form submissions. By default, submissions are saved to the database and can be viewed or downloaded at any time while through the asset. Multiple email messages can also be created and sent to a specified email or an email collected in the form.
An email can be sent to have the form submission results emailed to one or more recipients. Add an email message by clicking the Add button. Adding additional email messages can also allow for defining a different message to be sent to specific email addresses. A variable can be used to pass the email address of the form submitter.
When users complete a form created with the Form Asset and leave the Save Results box checked, the results or their form submission are sent to the form submission database. The results can be viewed and exported by users with access through asset management.
Note: If the "Save Results In Database" checkbox is unchecked and there are no emails set up, there is no way to retreive form submissions.
