The Kentucky Museum at Western Kentucky University has received a $246,233 grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) through the Museums for America program, to support inventorying and cataloging the Museum’s collection.

The KY Museum is hosting the KyAEA All State Art Show. This exhibit (Feb 11- March14) features works by students in grades K-8 from across Kentucky.

Now through April 30, 2026, the Kentucky Museum will continue to host Equal Temperament, a national juried metalworking exhibition, in their new Sculpture Gallery. Five artists were selected to receive awards.
