Kentucky Museum - Weaving Workshops
Fall 2019 Weaving Workshops.
The Kentucky Museum will be offering three FREE community workshops Fall 2019. Space in the workshops is limited and participants must register for the workshops in advance. Workshop fees are generously being sponsored by the Kentucky Museum Friends’ organization.
Participants must pay the workshop instructor a materials fee of $15. Instructors will be using natural materials that they have grown and harvested during these workshops.

Garden Trellis
Saturday, September 21
1 - 3:30 PM
The willow trellis made in this workshop will fit inside a 12 inch diameter planter.
Instructor: Beth Hester
Using natural materilas, willow and reed, participants create a medium size garden trellis to use in a garden container. There is no workshop fee but participants will pay a materials fee of $15 to the instructor.

Garden Orbs

Instructor:Page Candler
Participants will learn to weave an orb using natural materials. This orb is similar
to the ones Page designed and made for the Dougherty Stickworks’ sculpture in the
Museum’s front lawn. There is no workshop fee but participants will pay a materials
fee of $15 to the instructor.

Fruit Boats

Using natural materials particants will learn to weave fruit boats. There is no workshop fee but participants will pay a materials fee of $15 to the instructor.
