Staff Onboarding Guidelines provide a structured framework for onboarding new staff at Western Kentucky University. The process ensures compliance, facilitates access to key resources, and encourages engagement throughout the first 90 days and beyond.
Supervisors should review and follow these guidelines to ensure a positive new hire experience.
New Staff Orientation is available to all new benefits-eligible staff and is scheduled at the start of each pay period within the bi-weekly payroll cycle, as outlined in the annual schedule.
To ensure the best possible onboarding experience, it is strongly recommended that new staff begin employment on one of these designated orientation dates or as close to one as possible.
