Western Kentucky University received the first place ACUHO-I Marketing Award in the video category during the annual ACUHO-I Business Operations Conference, hosted on October 13-16, 2025 in St. Louis, MO. 

The video, created by Cristina Betz Digital Media Content Specialist with WKU Communications and Marketing, highlights student perspectives and comprehensively tells the story of M.A.S.T.E.R. Plan. M.A.S.T.E.R. Plan is WKU’s transition program for all new undergraduate students, designed to help students transition to their new life as a Hilltopper.  

Cristina Betz received her BA in Photojournalism from Western Kentucky University in 2023.  

The ACUHO-I Marketing Awards recognize the creative and vital work done to communicate campus housing programs and initiatives. Established in 2016, these awards acknowledge all ACUHO-I members and their departments for their accomplishments and creativity.
