The School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS)
Why School of Engineering and Applied Sciences?
The focus of the WKU School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS) is to educate students to be leaders in a changing technical landscape, to provide solutions to the problems facing the modern high tech society, and to provide a workforce to support the technological complexity of industry.
In order to provide students with the necessary skills, the programs in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences are project-based which means that students have opportunities to engage in project activities throughout the curricula to support design, development, implementation, and troubleshooting.
What Makes SEAS Different?
SEAS is a program that is heavily focused on hands-on projects which allow students to experience an education that will be more similar to the real-life workforce. WKU SEAS students will quickly be able to adapt and work efficiently in the actual workforce due to the student's experience of doing actual work while earning their degrees.
