WKU SEAS Scholarship Information


WKU has several scholarships options for first-time, transfer, and current WKU students. The TopDollar Scholarship portal is a convenient, one-stop place to apply for available scholarships at WKU.

 

Scholarship opportunities in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences include:

This fund was established in 2016 with a gift in memory of Bill Thompson. Recipients must be majoring in Engineering.

This fund was established by gifts from former students of Boyce Tate and by the Tate family. Recipients must be majoring in Engineering and have completed at least 60 hours of coursework.

This fund was established in 2021 with a gift from the employee giving program of Civil Design, Inc. Recipients must be pursuing a Certificate in Land Surveying.

This fund was established in 2013 in honor of Dennis and Sharon Smith. Recipients must be from the BRADD region in Kentucky and be majoring in Civil Engineering.

This fund was established in 2024 through the estate of Harry G. Bequette to demonstrate his belief in the importance of education. Recipients must be majoring in Electrical Engineering.

This fund was established with a gift in memory of Mr. Henry J. Klein. First preference shall be given to students from Borden High School in Borden, IN and majoring in Industrial Technology.

This fund was established in 1976 by friends following the death of Mr. L.T. Smith. Recipients must be majoring in Industrial Arts Education, Industrial Technology, or a program that has evolved from one of these.

This fund was established in 2024 by Larkin Riter to demonstrate his belief in the importance of education. Recipients must be from the BRADD region in Kentucky. First preference is given to students majoring in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.

This fund was established in 1987 with a gift from the estate of Francis D. Montgomery. Recipients must be majoring in the field of Industrial Education.

This fund was established in 1973 in honor of Mr. Walter B. Nalbach. Recipients must be majoring in the field of Industrial Arts.

This fund was established in 1970 for students in the study of Industrial Education.

This fund was established in 2018 by a gift from the Society of Manufacturing Engineers Chapter 223. Recipients must be majoring in the study of Industrial Arts, Industrial Technology, or Engineering Technology.

This fund was established in 1980. Recipients must be majoring in the study of Industrial Technology programs.

This fund was established in 2018 from a gift from Terry & Sharron Parker. First preference shall be given to students from Allen County, KY. Recipients must be majoring in Engineering.
