Minor in Family & Consumer Sciences
The minor in family and consumer sciences requires a minimum of 21 semester hours.
A grade of “C” or above must be earned in the following Family and Consumer Science
(FACS) courses required for the minor:
IDFM 100 Intro to Housing & Interior Design
HMD 211 Human Nutrition
FACS 310 Management of Family Resources
FACS 311 Family Relations
FACS 431 Clothing and Human Behavior
AND 6 hours of approved electives
A minor is required for most major areas of study at WKU. For additional information
