Faculty Attend Commonwealth College Faculty Developement Workshop

Friday, January 16th, 2015

Dr. Arbuckle, Dr. Doggett, and Dr. Reaka attended the Commonwealth College Faculty Development Workgroup workshop will be held Friday, January 16^th at the Shelby Campus/University of Louisville, 312 N. Whittington Pkwy, Louisville, KY 40222. The event was to provide a full-day workshop designed to help participants design, develop, and evaluate authentic assessments in the context of competency-based education. Formative, summative, formal, and informal authentic assessment strategies will be explored in depth. Hands-on activities will be a hallmark of this workshop and participants will leave with fully-realized, authentic assessments they can use in their own courses.
