Global Learning Ambassadors

Join the WKU Global Team

Global Learning Ambassadors work closely with WKU’s global learning initiatives. Because our office works with both international & resettled students coming to study at WKU and programs for students to study outside of WKU and the US, the position truly blends the many facets of international education together. Ambassadors help to shape programming opportunities for current students, assist in marketing and communication efforts,  participate in recruitment events, mentor new international students and those interested in study abroad, and work collaboratively in a team setting.

Minimum Qualifications

• Full academic year (fall-spring) commitment required during which full time enrollment is required
• WKU student for a minimum of 1 year (graduate students will be considered if only in attendance for 1 semester)
• Academic good standing and appropriate GPA requirements
  • Minimum 2.5 GPA for undergraduate students
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA for graduate students
• Interview with search committee
• Student self assessment
• Completion of 2 recommendation forms 
• Commitment of 6 office hours per week 
  • Weekly Monday required: 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
