Abdullah Alshahri, International Student Diplomat
Abdullah Alshahri is from Salalah, Oman. He is currently pursuing his bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering technology and plans to return home after graduation to pursue his career. Abdullah is fluent in English and Arabic and is actively involved in the Omani Student Association. In his free time, he enjoys watching movies and spending time with friends. “My favorite part of WKU is the people and relationships I have developed,” Abdullah said.
His goal as an International Student Diplomat is to help new international students adapt to WKU. Adbullah hopes to use this opportunity to grow as an individual by learning about different cultures and meeting new people. He also will continue to live by the saying “be strong enough to face the world each day”.
