The Gordon Ford College of Business Office of Undergraduate Student Services strives to provide students with a caring, collaborative community that will help students gain knowledge, understanding, skills, and tools needed for student success in a chosen academic program and career. We are committed to fostering community engagement and strong global citizenship.

 ccqStudent Responsibilities

  • Schedule an appointment with your advisor each semester to discuss your educational goals

  • Arrive to your appointment 5 minutes early, putting your phone and earbuds away

  • Discuss concerns and important decisions (such as changing your major) well before the course registration period

  • Prepare for your advising appointment properly: Follow through with suggestions or referrals made by your advisor, such as tutoring services

    • Review degree requirements
    • Bring a list of desired courses
    • Ensure holds are lifted, fines are paid
    • Research internships, study abroad, etc.
  • Enroll in the courses suggested by your advisor

  • Check your Topper email regularly for advising information and correspondence
