Professor Rahim specializes in the management of organizational conflict, emotional intelligence, and organizational learning. His current research projects investigate cross-cultural emotional intelligence in organizations, conflict management stratgegies, organizational justice, and organizational learning in high velocity organizations. He teaches courses in organization theory, organizational behavior, conflict management, and strategic management.


Dr. Rahim is the author/co-author of 20 books and 148 articles, book chapters, case studies, and research instruments. His articles have been published, among others, in Academy of Management Journal, Human Relations, International Journal of Conflict Management, International Journal of Organizational Analysis, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Health and Human Services Administration, Journal of Management, Journal of Small Business Management, Journal of Social Psychology, Multivariate Behavioral Research, and Perceptual and Motors Skills. Dr. Rahim is the Founding Editor of the International Journal of Organizational Analysis and International Journal of Conflict Management. He is the founder of the International Association for Conflict Management and International Conference on Advances in Management.
