Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ):

Who is able to take a GFCB dual credit course?

Dual Credit courses are available to current high school students with a GPA of at least 2.5. 

Which courses are available?

Currently, we are offering Principles of Microeconomics and Personal Finance online.  High school students can also take almost any WKU course through our Early College Experience program.

Where can I take GFCB Dual Credit courses?

You can take these courses on-campus at WKU, online, or in a limited number of high school classrooms

How much does the course cost?

Tuition for a college course taken through WKU Dual Credit is $291* ($97 per credit hour). This is a substantial savings, considering that in-state tuition at WKU is typically $1,456.50 per course. 

Are there scholarships available?

Yes! Dual Credit scholarships are available for Kentucky residents.  Please reach out for more information!

Can I take a course even if I live outside Kentucky?

Yes! We have students join our online dual credit courses from all over the region!
