The Gatton Academy's Staff

Jillian Winkeler serves as the Residential Counselor for 1^st Floor North. Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Jillian graduated from the Missouri University of Science and Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology and Geophysics.

 As an undergraduate student, Jillian had a part time job as an academic mentor and loved it. Because of this, they decided being a residential counselor working directly with students could be fun and a great experience.

Jillian is excited about numerous opportunities at Gatton, but if they had to pick two it would be mentoring students and the prospect of chaperoning study abroad trips. Outside of work, Jillian enjoys Dungeons and Dragons, reading, listening to music, painting their nails, and occasionally playing on their Switch.
