Greek Leadership Symposium

Greek Leadership Symposium 2024

Greek Leadership Symposium

Members of the WKU Greek community are viewed as leaders on the hill; to ensure our chapter members are the best representation possible of the Greek and campus community, Order of Omega sponsors an annual leadership symposium specific to our Greek students. Educational topics at the symposium range from personal growth and health, to leadership strategies and goal setting at the personal and organizational levels. Additionally, the symposium features educational sessions for bystander intervention, Title IX training and responsible consumption habits for alcohol.

If you would like to present at the annual Greek Leadership Symposium or would like to request more information, please contact Andrew Rash, and he will get you in contact with the event organizers.

New Member Symposium

The members of the WKU Greek community are excited to welcome new members each semester. This annual event occurs in the fall and is an opportunity to equip and empower the newest members of the WKU Greek community. Attendees at the symposium will learn about  campus resources which can assist in their transition to WKU's campus, as well as their transition into the Greek community and their individual chapters.

Topics at the symposium focus on developing students while also improving our Greek community. Past presentations have included bystander intervention for hazing, sexual violence, and substance abuse, maintaining a healthy school, social, and work balance and college, and how to get the most out of your Greek experience.
