WKU offers help when you seek to use Tuition Assistance to pay for school!
Are you thinking of using your tuition assistance (TA) benifits through your service branch? Be sure to contact your Educational Service Officer (ESO) or counselor within your military service branch prior to enrolling in courses that you wish to use TA for.
Army TA

WKU works through ArmyIgnitED to provide degree programs to Soldiers at our campuses in Bowling Green, Elizabethtown/Fort Knox, Glasgow, Owensboro and online.

Kentucky National Guard State TA
IMPORTANT DATES to remember for State Guard TA deadlines:
- Fall Semester- APRIL 1
- Spring Semester- OCTOBER 1
Follow this like to sign up for your Guard TA and check the status of you request. Remember to input $5,401 for 15 hours of coursework.
Air Force TA

WKU works through the AI Portal to retreive approved TA vouchers. However, if you want to send a copy to the university, you may do so by sending it to va.forms@wku.edu .
Marine Corps TA

NOTICE: RECENT Department of Defense Changes to the Tuition Assistance Program
Effective Winter 2015 term, students using federal Tuition Assistance (TA) can no longer have the same courses certified to the Department of Veterans Affairs under Chapters 1606 or 1607. Any remaining classes not covered by TA can be certified to VA.
This change does not apply if you are using state TA.
