Industrial Showcases

_{WKU's Industry Showcase events are networking opportunities for local industries and WKU's SEAS students. The Industry Showcases are hosted on Tuesday and Thursday's during the lunch hour time frame in the Logan Aluminum Conference Room.}

 

The format includes...

• an informal pizza  lunch for our students and guests

• a presentation by the visiting company, and a question and answer period for the students.

 

These are great networking opportunities for our students and a great time for industries to get a first hand chance to meet our students. Job opportunities are shared and resumes are exchanged as part of the event.

 

 

Our students benefit by getting to compare companies, company cultures,  and the different roles of practicing engineers within industry. Some companies bring several members of their team such as Human Resource professionals, Engineers, or Plant/Production Managers.
