Future Healthcare Professionals


Do you live in Warren County interested in a health career?

Apply to the Future Healthcare Professionals program with the Warren County Public Library.

 

FHP is a health career exploration program open to high school students in the area. Spring 2024 FHP program will be held in-person from 5:30-7 pm on Feb. 5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th, March 4th, 11th, and 25th, and April 8th, 15th, and 22nd at the Warren County Public Library - Lisa Rice Library

Throughout the program, students will explore different areas of the healthcare field through hands on activities and meeting with guest speakers. Applications are due February 2nd, 2024.

 

Program Requirements:

  • Students must commit to attending all of the sessions.
  • Participants must be current high school students.
  • Registration is limited to 20 students.

  • Measuring vitals

  • Learning to suture
  • Exploring current medical dilemmas

  • Public health

  • Environmental health exploration

  • Dental health

  • OT and PT exercises

  • Meeting with health professionals and more!
