Future Healthcare Professionals


Do you live in Warren County interested in a health career?

Apply to the Future Healthcare Professionals program with the Warren County Public Library.

 

FHP is a health career exploration program open to high school students in the area. Fall 2023 FHP program will be held in-person from 5:30-7 pm on Sept. 18th and 25th; Oct. 9th, 16th, and 23rd; Nov. 6th, 13th, and 20th, and December 4th and 11th at the Warren County Public Library - Lisa Rice Library

Throughout the program, students will explore different areas of the healthcare field through hands on activities and meeting with guest speakers. 

Program Requirements:

  • Students must commit to attending all of the sessions.
  • Participants must be current high school students.
  • Registration is limited to 20 students.

Past Virtual Activities:

  • Measuring vitals

  • Learning to suture
  • Exploring current medical dilemmas

  • Public health

  • Environmental health exploration

  • Dental health

  • OT and PT exercises

  • Meeting with health professionals and more!
