Testing Procedure


Contact the Student Accessibility Resource Center (SARC) about testing services at 270-745-5004 or sarc.testing@wku.edu.

 

Step 1: Student Submits Testing Request Form

It is the student's responsibility to complete the Student Testing Form seven days prior to the test day if they wish to test at the SARC.

If this is an exam coordinated by the DELO Testing Centers or if this is an exam for an On Demand course, you will need to schedule with both the SARC and the respective office. After you have complete the SARC's Student Testing Form, click here to find instructions for requesting with the DELO Testing Centers and for requesting for an On Demand courses

Step 2: Instructor Provides Materials

The instruction form will be sent to instructors after the student has submitted a request. We prefer that the form be completed and exam materials delivered 48 hours prior to the exam date.

More Information for Testers

Reminder: Notify the professor of your accommodations using the Faculty Notification Letter (FNL). This should be done seven days prior to requesting a testing appointment.

At the time of the exam: The student will come to DSU 1074. Students must be on time and bring with them the necessary materials (e.g. scantron, blue book, writing utensil, calculator).

During the exam: Cell phones, electronic devices, and other personal and/or unapproved items are not allowed in the testing area. To ensure academic integrity, the possession of any item other than those approved by the instructor will result in the termination of the exam.

About Testing Materials: All instructions, content, and scoring, as well as any other matters related to the exam, must be discussed with your faculty. Please, seek clarification about the exam materials outside your scheduled testing appointment (before the appointment or after the completion of the exam).


 Accessibility Issue? If there is an accessibility concern of any kind, please contact the SARC, as well as the corresponding department.
If a push button for a door or an elevator is not working, or other physical obstructions occur, contact the Department of Facilities Management at 270-745-3253.
For assistance after hours with physical access, contact the WKU Police Department at 270-745-2548.
