Getting Started as an Online Student

This guide is designed to address common questions, degree program options, funding your education, and will help you make an informed decision when choosing a school. This pre-admission guide also allows you to experience an online classroom firsthand in Blackboard. If you're thinking about returning to school, you have access to a team of dedicated professionals that will assist you with the process, and be there for you throughout your journey as a student. This undergraduate student guide is for non-degree seeking online students, including visiting students. You will find information on class registration, student account set-up, TopNet, Blackboard and myWKU. 

This graduate student guide is designed for both degree, and non-degree seeking graduate students who are enrolling in courses at the master's degree or graduate certificate level. You will find information on class registration, student account set-up, TopNet, Blackboard and myWKU, as well as graduate assistantships, research assistance, financial aid eligibility and award acceptance. It is designed to address your initial questions and is helpful to newly admitted graduate students.
