While in United States, she received a teaching certificate, to teach Chinese, from the state of Kentucky. In 2017, she began teaching Chinese at Western Kentucky University.

Pedagogy Philosophy

I believe that every student can speak Chinese if given the essential skills to succeed and have a motivated educator to instill knowledge. Also, students are at the center of teaching and because of this my lesson plans are prepared accordingly, for each student. I take into account my student’s needs, their interests, their goals, and their current level of understanding so that my students can be engaged during the class and so that they will enjoy learning about an unfamiliar topic.
