Weekend in the Woods is a 2-day leadership retreat, geared toward freshman and sophomores; however, any WKU student is eligible to apply. This retreat is hosted by the Department of Student Activities at Western Kentucky University with hopes to get students involved at WKU. Not only will students get to spend a weekend in the great outdoors with your peers, but also:

Create a sense of belonging
Past Weekend in the Woods activities have included:
- making s'mores
- ziplining
- low elements
- murder mystery activities
- gentle yoga
- canvas painting
- and more!
