Honors Calendar

Join Honors students for an evening conversation with descendants of the Jonesville community. Earlier in the course, students explored Jonesville's history through a documentary and a visit to WKU Archives. This conversation offers an opportunity to move beyond historical facts and artifacts to explore the community's continuing legacy through family memory, identity, belonging, and connection across generations. Through a relaxed and respectful conversation, students will hear perspectives on what it means to remain connected to a community and its history and consider their own relationship to the Bowling Green community. This event is part of the Honors Community Connections theme.

Do you think you have what it takes to become the #1 speller of the Mahurin Honors College? The Honors Council Events Committee is excited to host the first ever "Mahurin Spelling Bee," a time for you to show what you know and have fun with fellow scholars! All scholars and staff are welcome, and participation is not mandatory, being in the audience is more than fine!
