Manage Dual Credit Courses
WKU Dual Credit offers courses at participating area high schools, at WKU Glasgow, and through WKU Online.
Please make sure you complete ALL REQUIRED STEPS. All items must be completed to receive university credit for dual credit courses.
**Students must have a high school GPA of 2.5 to participate in WKU's Dual Credit Program. New students must submit transcripts after applying.
Create an account and submit your WKU application.
- On the first screen, you will be asked: “Are you completing this application to take
WKU courses before you graduate high school (ex: Dual Credit courses)?” Please select
Yes.
- Make note of which email/password you use to create this account because you will
use this email address to login in the future.
- Use the provided temporary pin to set your password. Your temporary pin has also been
emailed to you.
- After your password and account is created, you will land on the WKU Application Managment
Portal. Your application will be listed under ‘Application Awaiting Submission.’ Select
Dual Credit High School Application to complete and submit the WKU application.
- All of the steps of the WKU Dual Credit Application are listed on the left-hand menu.
Be sure to go through every step.
- Once you have submitted the application, you will access the Application Management
Portal. On this page, select ‘Manage Dual Credit Courses’, where you can register
for your Dual Credit Courses.
Log in here:
- Select the location where you will be taking your course (Glasgow Campus, Online, High School)
- Once you find the course you want to register for, click the "Register Now" button
- You will be asked to Login, use the email address and password you set when logging into your original WKU Dual Credit application. NOT your Toppermail logins you use for MyWKU or Blackboard.
- Forgot the email address/password you used on your application? If you need this information, contact brittney.sholar@wku.edu with your first name, last name, and date of birth.
Log in here:
Drop Here- Select ‘Manage Dual Credit Courses’ and you will see your Dual Credit courses for the semester. The Drop Request Form is listed next to the course listing. Submit the form and you will be dropped from the course, but it may take up to a week for this change to be updated in your portal.
Additional Information:
- Students will not be able to access their accounts until after you have been admitted to WKU and registered to your Dual Credit course. This could take 3-5 days AFTER you submit your application.
