On-Campus Early College Experience

High School Juniors and Seniors with a 3.0 minimum GPA are invited to experience college early by taking dual credit courses on WKU’s campus.

Spring 2027 Registration

WKU welcomes high school students to participate in actual university courses across campus as part of the Dual Credit Program. These courses are still considered dual credit with the discounted tuition rate and guidance from our Office! There are hundreds of available courses for you to pick from!

You can email brittney.sholar@wku.edu once you are ready to request a course.

Please send the following information:

- Subject Line-Fall 2026 Bowling Green Campus Course Request

- Course Information
  - CRN, Subj, Crse, SEC (ex:47135, ACCT, 110)
  - Days, Time (ex:MWF, 09:10 am-10:05 am)
- Student Information
  - First Name, Last Name, Date of Birth
  - WKU ID if available
  - High School

Dual Credit students will be added to courses beginning Nov. 1st

Tips for selecting your Courses

- 100 & 200 level courses are open to dual credit students
- Student are encouraged to select IN-PERSON courses, seats in university WEB courses are very limited.
- Read blue notes for any course restrictions
- Read course descriptions for prerequisite information
- Make sure there is space in the course, some classes will reach their cap
- Check out WKU's majors/minors and colonnade requirements to help you with your schedule
- If you are driving to campus you will need a parking pass check out commuter parking options here
