Career & Workforce Development (CWD) is part of the Continuing & Professional Development (CPD) team. We are dedicated to being a key partner in bringing career and workforce training to business and industry in our region.

Our focus is to meet the needs of each employee, whether an individual learning class or extensive certificate program. We provide training in communication skills, team building, supervision, and more to help develop the workforce in our community.

Supervisor Certificate Program

This program is designed to build general supervisory skills, as well as the basics of leadership. It consists of 16 core competency-based classes that focus on improving others, improving processes and improving self in order to increase an organization’s productivity, improve efficiency and enhance employee morale.

HACCP Training Workshop

The Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point (HACCP) system is consistent with USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service Regulations. This workshop is accredited by the International HACCP Alliance, which was developed in 1994 to provide a uniform program to assure safer meat and poultry products.

Excel Training

From basics to advanced, and everything in between, you will be able to showcase your skills in Excel after successfully completing this certificate program. This program consists of 5 classes including a course on applications to increase your working knowledge of Excel.
