• 2023 CAPCSD Scholarship Opportunities
  

  • CAPCSD announces scholarship opportunities to be awarded in 2022. The scholarships target both prospective professionals and academics in audiology, speech-language pathology, and hearing/speech/language science.  Graduate students from CAPCSD member programs that have a membership paid in full by September 15, 2022, are eligible to apply for a scholarship. Only one student per member program can apply for a Ph.D. research scholarship and Frances J. Laven award. Programs with multiple potential applicants should devise their own internal review process to select one applicant. There is no applicant limit for the Plural Publishing Research scholarships. Faculty and research advisors are encouraged to share this information with their graduate students.  Applications will be accepted until Thursday, December 15, 2022 11:59 p.m. ET.  More information and a link to the application is available on the CAPCSD scholarship webpage.

  • Frances J. Laven Service Award:  In honor of Frances Laven, this award funds one student in recognition of exemplary student service. The award is intended for graduate students in a professional program, Master’s SLP, AuD, or SLPD.  Apply here.

  • Plural Publishing Research Scholarships: These scholarships support graduate students pursing research in SLP or AuD. One scholarship is awarded for the Master’s/AuD level and one for the Doctoral-level.  Apply here.

 

• WKU Communication Sciences & Disorders Book Scholarship

  • This is an internal scholarship awarded by the WKU Department of Communication Sciences & Disorders.  Updated information regarding the application process and availability of scholarship will be provided.
