National NSSLHA and WKU NSSLHA Information
WKU NSSLHA
Western Kentucky University's NSSLHA Chapter is comprised of students interested in the field of communication sciences and disorders. Currently, the chapter has 35 members with seniors serving as officers. Students organize a variety of fundraisers and participate in philanthropic events in the Bowling Green/Warren County community.
Benefits of campus membership: community, university and departmental involvement and Senior Buddy program
Students recently had a Back to School Picnic as the first WKU NSSLHA meeting of Fall 2015 (see photo below). At the picnic juniors met their senior buddies. The Senior Buddy program is intended to ease the transition into the Communication Sciences and Disorders Program; seniors can answer questions about classes, clinic, and the program in general.
National NSSLHA
Membership in WKU's NSSLHA is separate from membership in the National NSSLHA Organization. Watch NSSLHA's informational video below regarding the benefits of National NSSLHA membership.
