  • Author: Monday, February 4th, 2013

Two Gordon Ford College of Business students will be part of the 2013 Posters-at-the-Capitol event to be held Feb. 21 in Frankfort.

Keaton Brownstead, a junior from Glasgow, will present Are We Fed Economic Uncertainty? With faculty mentor Dr. Cathy Carey.

Chris Yates, a senior from Columbia, will present Indigenous Credit Associations in Rural Botswana with faculty mentor Dr. Brian Strow.

Brownstead and Yates will join 26 other students in the all-day event.

The Posters-at-the-Capitol event is a collaborative event between the state-funded universities and technical colleges that helps members of Kentucky’s legislature and the Governor better understand the importance of involving undergraduates in research, scholarly, and creative work. The event began in 2001.
