WKU Pre-Veterinary Club

The WKU Pre-Veterinary Club aims to inform students about the veterinary profession and allows students to learn about the many veterinary schools around the world. The Pre-Vet Club creates an atmosphere where students can meet peers and develop networks that will allow them to grow and gain knowledge of the veterinary career throughout their years at WKU.

The Pre-Vet Club meetings usually take place monthly, with representatives from veterinary schools or veterinarians themselves. Students can learn about application processes, what different vet schools have to offer, and what the everyday life of a veterinarian in certain fields may be like! Job opportunities in veterinary medicine are posted when available and other opportunities like zoo tours, have also occurred in the past.
