In response to customer feedback, Modern Campus has updated the timeline for retiring the legacy Form Asset system. The removal of editing for legacy Form Assets has been postponed to allow institutions additional time to transition to the new Forms module.

The updated timeline is:

• Estimated November 2026 – Editing of legacy Form Assets will be disabled. Existing forms will continue to function, and submissions will remain accessible.
• Estimated March 2027 – Legacy Form Assets will be fully removed from the CMS.

The November update is also expected to include a few helpful improvements to the new Forms module. Submission emails will be able to include temporary, one-time links for securely downloading submission data, and the CMS link in submission emails will direct users to the submission detail page. WKU form styles will be applied globally, so you will no longer need to apply the custom styles URL to each individual form.
