New Component - Status Badge
- Thursday, May 15th, 2025

The new Status Badge Component, is now available in the CMS. This lightweight, flexible tool allows editors to create small, color-coded labels that quickly convey the status of content, ideal for highlighting updates, deadlines, availability, or other key information.
These badges can be seamlessly integrated into cards, tables, headings, and more to enhance visual clarity and user experience.
Indicate statuses like “Open,” “Closed,” “In Progress”, or even numerical values such as “3 Remaining.” The component supports up to 32 characters of text and is styled using contextual colors to help users instantly recognize the meaning:
- Success (Green) – For positive or completed actions
- Info (Blue) – For neutral or informational content
- Warning (Yellow) – For cautionary notes
- Danger (Red) – For errors or critical issues
- Neutral (Gray) – For general labels
- WKU Red (or Org Theme Color) – For branding consistency
For detailed instructions and examples, visit the Status Badge Component page.
