Forms Module is Now Available
- Friday, March 27th, 2026
The new Forms module is now available in the CMS and ready for use.
Over time, the new Forms module will replace the legacy Form Asset system as a more streamlined and user-friendly way to create and manage forms. Forms are now built and managed in a dedicated Forms area, with a simplified interface and improved submission handling.
As you begin using the new system, please note that form submission emails are now notification-only, and submissions must be viewed or downloaded from within the CMS.
To help you get started, we’ve created the following training videos:
We’ve also created a new Forms section in the Knowledge Base with step-by-step instructions:
- Creating a Form
- Add a Form to a Page
- View or Download Form Submissions
- Enable Form Emails
- Form Element Validation
- Apply WKU Styles to a Form
Reminder: The legacy Form Asset system is being phased out. To avoid disruption, please plan to recreate or move any existing forms to the new Forms module before these important deadlines:
- July 2026 – Existing Form Assets will no longer be editable
- November 2026 – Form Assets will be fully removed from the CMS
WKU has also purchased Formstack as an enterprise forms platform solution. It offers more advanced functionality than the Modern Campus Forms module. More information about that service will be shared in the future.
